Hi, I have just bought a 1980 2 lt GL 4 door with front and rear spoilers and tacho dash. It has Tan Cloth Trim with "Escort" written all the way through the fabric. Does anyone know if this was a standard trim option? and where if anywhere I could get this fabric from to retrim? Many Thanks

It may be the 'Denim Pack Escort' - picture appears on Pge 46 of the Ford Escort Downunder book (spotlight series). They describe it as 'another terrible 70's marketing special'.

Good luck finding this material - the best I could suggest is get a needle and thread and start embroiding the logo into some new material.

It does pop up from time to time on ebay (usually a roll in new condition), but haven't seen any for well over 6 months now.
