Howdy,

We have one of these at work.

eg stick welder, single phase. very portable.

This thing is easier to weld with than a mig [I am not kidding]



Anyhow.

There are a lot of cheap copies of these at very affordable prices, at the moment.

Question is are they any good ...........so has anyone used one ??

I'd never heard of them. Is it because it's DC welding that makes it easier.

Would also be interested to hear if anyones used them

Roger, what do need to weld? Alum, steel, stainless, would you like a Tig, mig or stick, as i work for an Industrial Hire company and deal with welders all the time, there are a lot of welders out there it just depends on what you need to weld, i have a Lincoln SP170 Mig weld at home, it will weld steel and Alum and cost under $1000.00 set up ready to go, very small and portable and has a 15amp plug, let me know what you need to do and i'll let you know some great reliable machines that we have in the fleet that would do the job
