We use Brisweigh for our weigh hopper loadcells and i was going to have a chat to them one day about getting a set made and calibrated. They may know of someone who has some or possibly have made a set for someone already.

Yes, but I want to unbolts stuff, move stuff around, get unsprung and so it goes.
No shortage of places where it could be taken, but it would just be easier to bring scales here.

The machine we have at work is on out main drive way. It's mainly for testing brakes and wheel alignments as you drive over it. But it has a scale section built it. But the down side it only weighs one axle at a time. I'll see if its up and running still and it may have to be a Saturday morning thing after the rush. And chat to the bosses. @ Springwood

I appreciate the offer Mickas. Getting unsprung weight means pulling stuff apart, best left to the comfort of my own shed.
Looking like I might have to stump up for a set, then hire them to recover some cost.

John,
Roger had a lever type corner weight scale apparatus that he used to reasonable effect.
https://www.google.com.au/search?q=corn ... 92&bih=855.
much cheaper than 4 dedicated car scales easier to store and... well that's all I got.

Yeah, I just can't see how they can give worthwhile results.
By the time the corner load is taken, suspension has moved and the corner load has increased from the static value.

when we used it on mine the wheel moved maybe 5mm. Sure not perfect but a 95% result for 10% the cost

I have this set in my shed. I have asked the owner how much he might want for them, as he's mentioned that he wants to sell. Will let you know when he gets back to me!
And no, that's not the weight of my car on the display. It is much lighter! Measurement is in Pounds.
