SuperCrudAuto do three engine stand rated at 340kg, 450kg or 560kg. Would the $99 340kg one be good enough for a Pinto with extractors, inlet, carbies and all ancillaries mounted????

yep, with about 200kg excess capacity - fully dressed Pinto runs to about 140kg, will just have to watch for stability with that design - with the Supa Cheap stands structural stability increases with the load capacity. I'ld be tempted to go to the 450kg, or of your budget will stretch the 560kg unit - you'll appreciate it the moment you try torquing mains or head bolt; you won't have to turn yourself inside out to stop the engine falling over.....
Cheers
James

Found a higher rated one for similar money but looks to have better stability. Prob go that way. The SuperCrap one will be from China anyway!

I guess it came from the same Chinese factory!! I am yet to put it together as the engine is sat in a small metal frame on wheels so I can push it around to keep it out of the way.
Time to fire up eBay and sell the spare......
