getting stuff laser cut or similar in bris

after doing tafe for a while i've learnt a bit about using autocad, i was looking at gettin some simple adaptor plates made up is there anywhere in brisbane people can recommend?? and what format of files do people generally accept ?
any help apprec'd

We use Laser Central @ Richlands for laser cutting and folding, PCD for bigger stuff, but they will only drill holes and plasma cut plate. Rockpress also do laser cutting.
I just send them .dwg files although they'll take .dxf's too. I think Laser Central take .sat or .iges for their 3d laser. (check out the video on their website)

At work I get loads done, I use ByLaser and Langford Metal Industries for most sheet metal, Laser Central for tubes, and Australian Waterjet cutting for anything Lasers can't cope with 9plastics, Carbon Fibre, Phenolic Sheet, and thicker plate.
I send .DXF files for any flat stuff, and .IGS for tubes.
Can thoroughly reccomend any of the above companies
