Leave the gearbox on and just remove it when the engine is out. Also goes back in easy enough that way...

I will come round if you pay the expenses??

I guess i could go that way as well. I am going to have to bolt straight through the chassis rail soon as the threads in my rails have almost had enough.

Supply beer and the masses will come....have you not tried this approach Danny.

Ittinery for the day Belly:

6 beers consultation.
7 beers to find all the tools for the job.
3 beers further consultation.
3 Dark and stormys during workplace health and safety presentation.
Lunch and a further 6 beers.
3 Dark and stormys to attend another workplace health and safety presentation as we have forgotton all the content.

Afternoon siesta.
6 beers just cause they are their.

Go home and try again tomorrow...

I think this is how the day will pan out anyway.

Danny went for the supplied curry approach before Bathurst, worked OK too as it attracted me and Tony over
Although there wasn't too much to do, if it been an engine out job there would have needed to be beer as well

Yes,engine and gearbox in one go, especially as yours is a MANUAL tunnel.
First time I did a clutch change with a manual tunnel took a couple of hours lying under the car just to get it of, and a few more to get it back on again.
I use a block and tackle with a HD chain under each engine mount and over the top of the engine, and chuck a cheap trolley jack under the gearbox to jack it up and down as you pull it in and out. And don't forget the old tailshaft yoke in the gearbox. 2hrs max, including beer breaks of course.
