Original Ford Works Driver Returns to the Forest. Bruce Hodgson at the ripe old age of 76 returned to the forest in the clasic component of the QRC at Urbinville. Bruce was to have his first competitive drive for over 8 years and was to finish a respectale 12 out right in the classic, beating ever other person in his age group. Dave Gains was to help hoddo at the after party showing him how to enjoy himself with a new found drink, Jim bean and cola. Great to see one of australia s premier race car drivers still out there having a go. ( and making navigators sick)

Good to hear. Our club hosted a dinner for Bruce a few months back and he is a real nice bloke and a great story teller.

You get the feeling that some of the stories may be embelished a little but there is know doubt of his "living legend" status.
