Thanks for your responses.
Yes, we bought the car off Dominic just after Easter this year and he has provided us with details while it was his.

We and are looking for previous owners to Dominic in a bid to compile as much history on the vehicle as possible and to complete the respray in the areas of the car mentioned in my original post.

The car has been taken back to a bare shell and unfortunately the psychedelic interior will not be refitted ... :lol:

I had often thought that the interior would match sean's car.
I was sad to see it go but it is in good hands and it gives me a chance to start the new project.

Yeah, but I can see Sean's engine bay is a LOT shinier than the psychedeclical interior!.....I am wearing my sunglasses just to look at the photo!

Dominic, your RS is well loved and is doing well during the rebuild. I understand you were sorry to see it go, however I would like to think that it has become part of the extended family. You are more than welcome to come around anytime. When it is mobile again, and for it's first drive, Lyn and I will as a priority bring it up to you for an inspection.
