your freakin' me out a bit Steve...we know of the blue one over here...our one is/was white for most of it's life and was owned by an ex-club member who bought it from the guy who immigrated. It's a '68 car, very early, was used to tow a Mk1 Escort Sports Sedan to Wanneroo Raceway for some years complete with 1300 and 4 wheel drum brakes!!

you are freakin me out now craig - the dark blue one i know about was from meadowbank sydney , i think it was a mk2 but same as a my mk 1
it was metalic blue & i have no idea of the origin but it must have been imported , my car was so badly rusted out when i got it , from those pommy idiots putting SALT on the roads ?????? but i grafted another front end on to it & used all my lftover bits from the rs - but the east coast surf spots took its tolll on the thing not to mention the lay down back seat action

i used to get so pissed off with ppl tellin me --- thats a nice gemini panelvan mate ! ggggrrrr :cry:

that car still holds the lap record for " whale beach rd" & balina to byron bay -
not to mention some questionable action upon the cliffs of byron bay lighthouse with some non english speaking goats :roll:

I also know of a MK2 Estate that was in Brisbane a few years back, should give the guy a call....

There was a Escort wagon down the road from me about 5years ago. But cannot remember if it was Mk1 or 2. Last I heard it was in Murray Bridge? But can't verify it.

I do know where a Mk1 Cortina Estate is sitting. It's been up forsale before but wasn't sold. Tailgate is rooted with rust so makes things a little harder. Was around $3g last time forsale.

I am chasing up the MK2 one as well but there is a bit of sherlock homes stuff required on that one.......
