Posted: Sun Apr 22, 2007 9:24 pmHe took delivery of his McLaren F1 at Adelaide from the man himself and got a lap of the F1 circuit upon taking the keys. The famous part of the story is that a BMW Techo in Sydney crashed it when it was in for a tune!! It ended up having to be shipped back to the UK to get repaired. I think he has since sold it on.
Others? Lots of Astons, a Ferrari or two. He wasn't a badge snob - had a GTR and also the limited edition 2 door suby in the old style body. What were they called - the ST22 ??
Dean's biggest challenge was fitting in the cars. He is a rather uhhmm - rotund gentleman.
