Yea, the old pushrod Ed Pink doesn't quite have the top end of the Esslinger, but the low down grunt is unbelievable.

Had a drive in the latest Range Rover Sport with the 500HP Supercharged V8. 100km/h in 3rd to 220km/h in 5th in around 7 seconds.
No fuss, no bother. Very quiet inside. Just this massive surge of acceleration as you flappy paddle through the gears.

Hi All I will give a good report when I get the bug out of my lap top I am using
Y whites I phone now to much pain and so slow picked up a bug at th last hotel hope to fix soon I can say you must drive them in different way or you Will spin

Thats when and where the FWD and the HP really work well

Not the fastest of cars but it can put in a pretty quick lap. Lotus 69 Formula Ford, all 105 hp. Skinny tyres, two pot calipers, steel rims, four speed gearbox, single down draught Weber, stock GT cam.

The other toy, Van Diemen RF80c (car 91) . More modern than the Lotus and a lot more stable and forgiving. Great race in pouring rain, finished fourth from memory. Good bang for your buck, historic FF racing. Same tyres, engine, gearbox. A lot of it is down to the driver.
