tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems

Does anybody use a tyre pressure monitoring system on their track or rally cars? I have a TPMS that uses the pressure sensors that screw onto the valve. They only weigh a few grams but I given that they are not actually designed for motorsport I am wondering if they will survive at 180km/h??? Thoughts? (The manufacturer could not give me an answer!!!)
