Refurbished RS2000 Steering Wheels Soon Available!

Hi All,

Just a sneak peek of the refurbished Escort RS2000 steering wheels soon to be available.

Included are a few photos of a prototype refurbished steering wheel.

The old rubber has been removed, the metal frame has been lightly sandblasted back to bare metal, acid dipped, then painted in 2 pack etch primer and undercoat. Because the product is still being developed this steering wheel metal has not been painted in the satin black.

The "soft feel" rubber is "as new" condition, it has the same softness and has the reticulated pattern is in new condition as from Ford.

There are no mechanical changes to the steering wheels so they will still comply with vehicle design rule conditions.
