70's Era, Wagon Owners in Brisbane...!

Postby warped_foobie » Tue Sep 23, 2008 10:46 am

... We're looking for another wedding car to use in March next year.

We currently have a 1978 mk2 esky as the bridal car, with a HZ, 253 wagon as one of the bridal cars. We need another wagon of comparable vintage (6 or 8 - preferably a ford anything around the xy era, or holden anything hz, hd, hx etc) and preferably something with a bench seat in the front.

It does not have to be in perfect condition, just something with a straight body/paint, and interior. The escort we are using is my fiance's, and it's by no means perfect - but it's straight and in good condition.

Obviously we need someone to drive it, and the owner does not mind it being in our photo's. We'll negotiate a price with the owner when we've seen the car.

Limo drivers want around $300 per hour, we need it for 3 hours on a saturday afternoon. I'm not going to pay $1000 for a shiny limo (we want something with a bit of character, not a shoebox on wheels)

We have a friend who has a HQ and HX monaro's in concourse condition - but they are a little "too good", and don't want them to outshine our escort.

Either that or if we can fine around 5 escort's - LOL

So if you're interested (and keen in showing off your car a bit at a wedding) - please PM me!
