Hi,
I need to fit my battery In the boot of my mk1.
The car will be some track and fast road. Basically a club car.
What requirements do I need .
Should the battery be enclosed or can I use a sealed battery (optima) I think they are called.
Remote power switch /isolator and circuit breaker.
Tia

Don't mount it in the boot if you can get away with it. Do you have a passenger front seat? Mount it there if not. There is a lot resistance running the leads that long.

if you do put it in the boot
dont put it in the wheel well
put it up against the firewall over the top of the shocks

Really wanted to run 2 seats minimum.
havent decided on a fuel tank yet so I wanted to leave some space .
if I use my standard side tank then I will mount it central behind the rear firewall.
Anyone got a pic of their setups so I can get some ideas
thanks
