Do you keep the standard water pump pulley or go a bit bigger for the higher revving motors?

alright i had a quick play with the plate on the back of the impellor, i had a water pump gasket lying around , and had some 1mm steel used a 75mm hole saw to cut the plate , then marked out where the veins (claytons idea) were drilled small holes on all of them tack welded on and ground it down, so it was all done for nothing so it's no loss if it doesn' t do much , something i would of changed if doing it again is use something like 1.6mm steel or stainless as i turned the welder up slighty to make sure it would weld to the thicker impellor but as you can see it started blowing a hole but it's inline with the impellor so it should affect it, but all up you could probably do it in around 1 - 2 hrs from pulling the water pump off too puttin it back on
