Hi guys,

i have a Mk1 Escort, 1300, i want to fit my 32/36 weber, but having a hard time finding a manifold to suit. I found somewhere i can get one from a Cortina, but they told me there is a difference. What is the difference between Escort and Cortina twin barrel intake manifolds?

The Cortina manifold doesn't have the cable bracket cast in where as the Escort ones do, also the Escort one does flow a bit better

Cheers mate. Do you know if you can make a cortina one work? I know where i can get a cortina one off the shelf, but knew that it wasnt the same.

I've seen guys weld the bracket mounts on the sides of Cortina manifolds before and works fine

by any chance you got pics of this being done? otherwise ill look at my workshop manual and try get some decent google pics.
