Inlet manifold

Hi folks,
I have just picked up a set of 48DCOE's (not DCO/SP). Now the question is that of manifolds. The only one that is advertised to suit 48's for a pinto is the mangoletsi one, but i'm not too partial to that as it's pretty long. I really wanted something a little shorter if possible for a number of reasons.
That been said has anyone tried the mangoletsi one out of interest. But more importantly, after reading around it seems some of you port a 45 manifold. This is something i'm more than happy to do but can anyone give me any definitive advice as to which one is the best to start with, i don't really want to spend a few hundred bucks just to grind a hole in one. Or if someone has something laying around even that they might be happy to part with???
