RS Motorsport :: Classic Speed Restored

Following on from discussion on the old forum, about my brakes and lousy pedal.
Put on the rx7/pug yesterday....
Tight firm pedal the way it should be

it must have been my old calipers all along not the drums, what would be the cause of that?

air ?

pads ?

caliper assm ?

disc runout ?

bearing free play ?

not air, they had been bled 100's of times.
these new ones i bled yesterday with my trusty one man supercheap kit, gave it a few stomps each sides and they were allright, still might be a small bit of air but i will do once they settle in a bit.

new pads
could have been something crook inside calipers, or a disc.

small bit of bearing play, they are a bit stuffed, but these are also on the same bearings and still have some play. i've got a set of new ones i'll put in now that its sorted.


got me what the others were doing, they still worked just lots of pedal
