How many blades does the engine fan have in an Australian twin cam.
I dont have one yet and the parts manual says it should have 9 blades.
The only fans I have ever seen are the yellow or orange seven bladed ones.
Hopefully this is not a unique part that I have to find and pay a heap for.

Gidday George.
Been away for a few weeks so havent been able to catch up with posts here for a while.
This is the blade I think you should have but im not 100% positive on that. Yes its on a BDA here but I'm pretty sure the late model twin cams ie those fitted to Escorts both in the UK and Aussie, had the same fan. It's quite thin compared to normal type ford plastic fans. Lotus Cortinas had the old type two blade steel fan.
I managed to get a NOS one for my BDA from the UK but I do know where there is a used one over here if you are desperate. I saw it in a guys shed not far from my place the other week and everything in his shed is for sale.
Incidently the photo was taken at Harpers in the early 1970's probably 1970 by the spec of the carbs and oil pump. Harpers were one of the companies who assembled the engines for Ford. Wouldn't you just love to be let loose in a place like that these days.
